Q. What is the minimum commitment time for GenNXT?

A. GenNXT is designed as a full-time golf academy; however, interested athletes may participate for a one month minimum based on availability.

Q. How often will GenNXT Athletes receive training from Dr. Rick Jensen?

A. Dr. Rick will be at Eagle Creek for a minimum of two days each semester to provide training to GenNXT Athletes.  In addition, Dr. Rick will be providing regular coaching support via "Go to Meeting" technology.

Q. What is the additional charge for private coaching for GenNXT Athletes?

A. 0!  GenNXT Athletes will receive comprehensive coaching support.  All coaching fees are covered in tuition fees.

Q. How does GenNXT interact with Home Coaches and National/State Coaches?

A. GenNXT respects and supports home coaches and National/State Coaches.  We communicate with them and work as a team to ensure continuity and seamless support for GenNXT Athletes at all times.  Home Coaches and National/State Coaches are very welcome to visit GenNXT at Eagle Creek.

Q. Is there a recommended hotel for GenNXT Parents/Guardians when they visit?

Q. Do GenNXT Athletes get support in competition?

A. Yes.  GenNXT Coaches provide practice round support and support in competition at select events.  This support is included in GenNXT tuition.  Travel expenses and transportation costs are shared equally amongst participating athletes.

Q. What are the accommodations like?

A. GenNXT Athletes stay in student housing at the GenNXT Golf House located right inside of the Eagle Creek Golf Community. Full security/supervised 24/7, bonded House Parents - limted availability - priority given to students enrolled in Windermere Preparatory School.

Q. What is the transportation while at the Academy?

A. Transportation is provided to Winderemere Preparatory School, golf course, local shopping and entertainment. GenNXT provides transportation to select tournaments.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS FAQ

Q. Are international students issued an I-20?

All international students who apply to Windermere Preparatory School and the GenNXT Junior Academy will be issued an I-20. The I-20 is issued by Windermere Prep and should be taken to your local embassy to receive your visa.

Q. How do I receive an I-20 from GenNXT’s partner school, Windermere Preparatory School?

A. Should an acceptance be offered, Windermere Prep issues the I-20 document once the Admission Office has received the signed enrollment contract and the non-refundable enrollment deposit.
